Now based in Milton Keynes, Peter Daley has been in the music business for over fifteen years.  His musical background began in a Pentecostal Church, where he learnt to play by ear.  Over the years he has accumulated an eclectic sound, which includes jazz, Cuban, classical, gospel and R&B.  


Peter Daley PhotoBrought up in the Pentecostal church, Peter received his first musical training listening and learning hymns, gospel and inspirational songs on the piano/keyboards & Hammond organ.

Peter, who now resides in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire, UK, obtaining a Bachelors of Music Degree in Composition and a Master of Arts Degree in World Music. Here, he received paramount training by Professor Andrew Downes, Dr. Mark Lockett and Martin Riley, in composition and orchestration, theory, polyphony, harmony, arranging, & music philosophy. He also gained honorary membership from Birmingham City University in 2009.

Peter's inspiration comes through many life experiences. He composes/writes music & songs for soloist, groups, bands, and orchestras. His 15+ years in the music industry has given him a wealth of knowledge & experience that could not be bought.

Teaching has also been apart of Peter's career, piano, composition, arranging and community choirs. He wrote 'So Sweet’ which was a commission from Black Voices and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO). It was performed by a community choir, 4 piece band & the CBSO at Birmingham's prestigious Symphony Hall.

As a keyboard player/Musical Director, Peter has performed with Fred Hammond, Martha Munizzi and Jessie Campbell, Ronny Jordan, Vickie Winans, God Quest, Dave Copeland, Carla Hayles, U.K. Fellowship Choir, Bishop Wagner & The Mount Calvary Concert Choir/The Bishops Choir, Doris Troy, True Solace, Dawkins & Dawkins, Donnie McClurkin, Winans Phase II, Ben Tankard, Kim Burrell, Lekan Babalola, The Birmingham Conservatoire Big-Band, Jean Toussaint, Nu Life and Konig, to name a few.

Composed, arranged & played on the following Albums: Nu Life, Black Voices, Siani, Raymond & Co, Konig, Bethel National Choir and Young Disciples.

Peter has recently established his own record label ‘Another Key Records’. His debut album 'Apart from Life’ was released December 2006 in which he composed, arranged and produced all the tracks. The hybrid recording crosses genres from fusion, gospel-soul, R&B to straight head jazz. This exciting work is ‘’the beginning of many’’, says the maestro. His ingenious technique of fusing genres is captivating and noteworthy. Another Key Records latest release (June 2010) is a single by urban contemporary gospel artist Genevieve Sylva entitled, “Never Be the Same”. It is an upbeat inspiring song that will appeal to the masses.
